Suscribirme >El proyecto europeo MONITOOL tiene como objetivo responder a las demandas de la Directiva europea para la evaluación del estado químico de las aguas de transición y costeras, permitiendo el uso de dispositivos de muestreo pasivo (PSD) en un contexto regulatorio, mejorando la implementación de la Directiva Marco del Agua (DMA).
Después de casi 4 años de arduo trabajo, compartimos los resultados obtenidos en el proyecto MONITOOL, financiado a través del programa europeo INTERREG Espacio Atlántico, en el que participamos 17 organizaciones de Irlanda, España, Portugal, Francia, Reino Unido e Italia. El Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias (ITC) y la Fundación AZTI son los miembros españoles del consorcio que lidera Dublin City University (DCU), de Irlanda. Entre las entidades asociadas al proyecto están la Consejería de Transición Ecológica, Lucha contra el Cambio Climático y Planificación Territorial del Gobierno de Canarias, el Consejo Insular de Aguas de Gran Canaria y la Agencia Vasca del Agua.
